The operators of this site are not licensed or regulated tax advisers, lawyers, accountants, auditors, financial advisers or immigration consultants in Cyprus or in any other jurisdiction. Everything published here reflects our own research and personal experience of relocating to and living in Cyprus. No adviser-client relationship
Reading this site, using the calculator, downloading materials, or submitting a form does not create any adviser-client, solicitor-client or other professional relationship between you and ClearCyprus. Before making any decision with tax, legal, financial or immigration consequences, you should obtain advice from appropriately licensed professionals in Cyprus and in your current country of residence, based on your specific circumstances.
The calculator and all figures are estimates
The tax calculator uses simplified, headline rates and deliberately ignores allowances, regional variations, treaty positions, social security, exit taxes and personal circumstances. Its output is a rough scale check, not a computation you can rely on. All figures on this site are indicative only, and where we describe other countries' tax rules we do so as non-experts summarising publicly available information.
Property and real estate
We are not estate agents. ClearCyprus is not a registered or licensed real estate agent in Cyprus or anywhere else, and we do not carry out estate agency work of any kind. We do not list, offer, market, advertise, view, value, negotiate or broker property, we do not represent any buyer or seller, we hold no client money, and we are not a party to any property transaction. Anything we publish about property is general information only.
What we do instead. If you ask us to, we introduce you to a licensed and registered Cyprus estate agency, currently L.B. Landbank Property Consultants Ltd (Registration No. 594, Licence No. 154/E). That introduction is the entire extent of our involvement. Every part of the property transaction, including listings, viewings, valuations, negotiation and paperwork, is carried out by that agency directly with you, under their own licence and their own professional responsibility. Your contract is with them, not with us, and we pass on your details only with your consent. You never pay us anything; the general referral disclosure below applies to every provider we introduce.
The listings shown on this site are theirs, not ours. Where a property page displays Landbank's listings, that is their own listings page loaded directly from their site inside a frame on ours. We do not select, curate, edit, price or otherwise touch the content shown, it is exactly what appears on their site at the moment you view it, and it can change or go offline without notice. Treat it as visiting their site, not ours.
Do your own checks anyway. Verify any agency's registration yourself with the Registration Council of Real Estate Agents, and appoint your own independent lawyer, one who is not acting for the seller, the developer or the agency, before you reserve or sign anything. We do not warrant, endorse or accept any responsibility for the services, advice, pricing, listings or conduct of any agency we introduce you to, or for the condition, title or legal status of any property.
Referral disclosure
When we introduce you to a service provider, that provider may pay us a referral fee if you become their client. You never pay us anything. We are not responsible for the services, advice, pricing or conduct of any third-party provider we introduce; your engagement is with them directly and you should carry out your own due diligence.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearCyprus and its operators accept no liability for any loss or damage of any kind, including financial loss, tax penalties, missed deadlines or immigration consequences, arising directly or indirectly from the use of, or reliance on, anything published on this site or in materials downloaded from it. You use this site entirely at your own risk.
