Who we are

ClearCyprus (www.clearcyprus.com) is an independent information website about relocating to Cyprus. For anything in this policy, contact us at mario@utomat.com.

What we collect and why

  • Provider match requests: when you submit the "Get matched" form we collect your name, email, country, plans, timeline, any notes you add, and your phone number if you choose to give one. The phone field is optional and leaving it blank does not change the service. We use these details to reply to you and, at your request, to introduce you to one or two licensed service providers, which means passing your details, including any phone number, to that provider so they can contact you. That is the entire purpose of the form, and we share your details with nobody else.
  • Checklist requests: when you request the relocation checklist we collect your email address to send you the checklist and, with your consent, given via the checkbox, occasional ClearCyprus updates about Cyprus tax and relocation. A few emails a month at most. Every update includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
  • Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track you across sites. We see aggregate page views, not identified individuals.

Where your data lives

We use a small number of processors to run the site: Brevo (mailing list and email delivery), FormSubmit (form-to-email relay), and Vercel (website hosting and analytics). Each processes your data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell your data, and we never share it with anyone except a provider we are introducing you to at your request.

Legal basis and retention

We process match-request data to take steps you have asked for (replying and making an introduction), and mailing-list data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us. We keep data only as long as needed for those purposes and delete it on request.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email mario@utomat.com and we'll act on it promptly. If you're in the EU/EEA you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in Cyprus that is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date above. Continued use of the forms after a change means the new version applies.
