How this calculation works
The Cyprus side uses the rules in force from 1 January 2026: 15% corporate tax on company profits, 0% Special Defence Contribution on dividends for non-domiciled residents, the 2.65% GHS health contribution capped at €180,000 of income, progressive income tax with a €22,000 tax-free band, and 0% on gains from securities. Running costs of a Cyprus company are deducted at a mid-range €5,000 a year, which is where a straightforward active company typically lands once you add registered office, secretary, accounting and audit or review.
Your current-country side uses headline rates for a typical high earner: these are simplified and ignore allowances, regional variations, social security ceilings and personal circumstances, all of which move the number. Treat the output as a scale check, not a tax return.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this calculator?
The Cyprus side uses the exact 2026 rates. The home-country side uses simplified headline rates for a typical high earner, ignoring allowances and regional variation. Treat it as a scale check, not a filing document.
Why does it deduct €5,000 in running costs?
Because the classic non-dom setup involves a Cyprus company, and an active company realistically costs €3,000 to €7,000 a year to run. We deduct a mid-range €5,000 so the saving shown is closer to what actually reaches your pocket.
Does it include exit taxes?
No. Exit taxes in your current country can be the biggest number in the whole equation, and they're too situation-specific to estimate here. Each country page on this site covers its own exit trap.
What income level makes Cyprus worth it?
As a rule of thumb, the structure earns its keep when the annual tax saved beats the company running costs — typically somewhere above €60,000 to €80,000 of dividend-routed profit, and dramatically so at €150,000+.
